I paint the drama and the emotion of our visual world

The patterns of light and resulting colour that we are able to see as a result of our visual systems and the interpretation that follows because of our brain - that results in something meaningful. It results in something not only meaningful, but emotional to us.

Moreover, that same pattern of light is perceived differently by individual persons. And can be interpreted differently too. That pattern recognition that happens in your brain that causes you to smile at a representation of your sister or a special place you've been to, is an incredible process.

It's fascinating. Art is an incredible medium of communicating our individual worlds and emotions.

I love colour, and how we perceive it physiologically and emotionally.
